The Prophet MuhammadÂ…

SkyThe Prophet Muhammad pbuh led a very simple life. When  he reached forty years of age God sent the angel Gabriel to reveal to  him the very first verses of the Noble Quran and hence he was  commissioned with prophet-hood. After this the Prophet pbuh devoted his  entire life and struggled for the sake of God and the completion of the  message. Months would pass and no fire would be lit in the Prophets  house due to lack of food. The Prophet pbuh passed away not owning  anything.

"O  Messenger Proclaim which has been sent down to you from your Lord. And  if you do not, then you have not conveyed His Message. God will protect  you from mankind."

(Quran 5:67)

The Prophet MuhammadÂ…

Over viewIndeed Prophets and messengers before the Prophet  Muhammad had mentioned the coming of the prophet Muhammad as the last  Messenger. Though some of these prophecies have been removed from the  previous scriptures, a few texts can still be found today in the Torah  and Gospel. Though some words are mistranslated, the passages are  stunning and can only refer to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). These texts  state that the last messenger of God would be a descendant of Abraham  (pbuh), and would speak the exact word of God (Quran), commanding  belief in one God, establishing the law of God on Earth and purifying  the people of idolatry and sin. (See: Deuteronomy 18:18-22; John 16: 5-8; John 15:26-27; John 16:12-14)

"Those who follow the Messenger,  the Prophet who can neither read nor write, whom they find written with  them in the Torah and Gospel- he commands them the good and forbids  them the evil; he allows for them the lawful and prohibits them the  unlawful; he releases from them their heavy burdens"

(Quran 7:157)

"And when there comes unto them a messenger from  God confirming that which they possess, a party of those who have  received the Scripture, fling the Scripture of God behind their backs  as if they knew not."

(Quran 2:101)

"Those unto whom We gave the Scripture recognise this  (revelation) as they recognise their sons. But lo! A party of them  knowingly conceal the truth."

(Quran 2:146)

The Prophet MuhammadÂ…

Sky waterThough prophets are sent to their peoples, they are  denied by most. This is the case with prophets when they come with  clear proofs and instructions, confirming the prophets before them.  Such people of old are like those today who deny the messenger-ship of  Muhammad (pbuh). Similarly, people of today, had they witnessed the  prophets before, would have denied them also; clinging onto the  religion of their ancestry. So this Islam (or "submission" to God) is  shunned by most in whichever age it appears and people prefer to follow  their desires, shaping the truth to their likes, and for the time.

"Even so there came no messenger unto those before them but they said: A wizard or a madman!"

(Quran 51:52)

"And when it is said unto them: Come unto that which  God has revealed and unto the messenger, they say: Enough for us is  that wherein we found our fathers. Even though their fathers had no  knowledge and no guidance?"

(Quran 5:104)

"And if they deny thee (Muhammad), even so did they  deny messengers before thee, who came with miracles and with the Psalms  and with the Scripture giving light."

(Quran 3:183)
